It's time to make some cards!  This time of year is especially fun because who doesn't love to receive holiday cards! I started with Halloween!  I love Close To My Heart's Moonlight paper packet!  It has so many different ways to use it!  I love the colors!  I already need to order more because I've used it all up!  This is one paper packet that I didn't hesitate to hoard!  (All you scrapbookers know how that feels!)

This card size is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4.  The middle frame was cut by the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The Stamp was from a previous Idea Book.  I love the witch in this stamp set!  I added some glitter gel to the orange frame for some shimmer!

The Cards below are made using older Close To My Heart Halloween paper that I actually was hoarding and decided to give it a new home!  What do you Think?!!!  I love Halloween!!!

I am so excited that Halloween is almost here!  I am however a little behind on the costumes for the kids.  But I'm sure I'll get them soon enough!  I love Halloween!  You get to see so many creative ideas and eat yummy recipes!  Halloween is a time for the kids to use their imaginations and become someone that they dream to be!

I have started using my imagination in decorating!  I have made a banner for the occasion and some Halloween Cards too!  I think every wall in the house will have handmade decoration by the time I'm done!  I love my cricut and I love my Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge!  It is a wonderful tool in decorating just about anything!

This banner was made from the Close To My Heart Moonlight Paper Packet.  I used a total of 4 black cardstock paper and each banner measure 6' on the cricut cartridge.  It is the right size for my mantel and just big enough to see each letter!

I added the glitter gel to each letter to add some sparkle to them! I added black tulle and threaded it through each hole that is amazingly cut out for you on the cricut!  So handy to have when a hole punch isn't available!  Makes life so easy!  I hold onto almost everything because you never know when you may need to use it for something else.  When Kayla decided to sale her old Ballet Costume I had to keep it!  The tulle alone was worth hoarding!  I cut that sucker up and used the bottom portion of the tutu as the string to hold my banner!  It even had a plastic cord in it which made the banner stiff!  Love it!

Such a beautiful Ballerina!

I LOVE LEMONS!!!!

I always seem to have a craving for Lemons!  It started while pregnant with my third and FINAL child Ruby!  Ever since then I crave for it a bunch!  I found a recipe online at Cooks.com and had to share it with you!  It is so yummy and so simple to make you will be having cool whip as a staple from now on in your freezer! I tweaked it just a bit but I'm sure it's as good as the original!

Lemon Cookies
1 box Pillsbury Yellow Cake Mix
1 Pkg. Instant Lemon Jello Pudding
1 egg
2 cups Extra Creamy Cool Whip (Kroger brand)

(In my head I hear Stewie from Family Guy saying Chooo Whip! LOL.)

Roll into 1 inch balls or bigger, than roll in sugar.  Press with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Yield: 30 cookies (Mine only took 10 minutes!)

The recipe didn't call for any icing but since I love baking I had to do an icing!  I had an extra tub of lemon supreme icing and piped it onto the top of cookie!  Wow, was it ever delightful!

My Ruby ate three cookies before I could even ice them!

So simple and easy to make!  I will be making more of these in the future!

I may try another type of flavor in the instant jello pudding!

Happy Eating!
